Enable Camera Location Tags

Before You Continue

Make sure your camera app is set to save location data with photos. Follow the instructions below for your device.

iOS Settings
  1. Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services
  2. Ensure Location Services is ON
  3. Find Camera and set to "While Using the App"
  4. Ensure the Precise Location toggle is ON
Android Settings
  1. Go to Settings > Location and ensure it is ON
  2. Open your Camera app
  3. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  4. Enable "Location tags" or "Save location"
General Settings
  1. Enable Location (GPS) in your device system settings
  2. Open your camera app settings
  3. Look for "Save Location" or "Location tags" and enable it

Important: Take a new test photo after enabling location tags. Previously taken photos won't have location data added retroactively.

  4. Change to "Allow"
